Trigger Point Injections at Noble Naturopathic

Trigger points are focal, hyperirritable spots in a taut band of muscle that occur due to stress secondary to trauma or repetitive strain.

Trigger points can cause pain locally, but also in specific referred patterns, and lead to other dysfunctions such as:

  • tension headaches
  • tinnitus
  • loss of range of motion across joints

Trigger Point Injection (TPI) Details:

TPIs are injections into soft tissue (where trigger points are/commonly known as “knots”) to alleviate local and referred pain, improve and/or restore function and mobility of muscles and fascia.

During the initial appointment an assessment and health history will be taken to determine whether TPI is beneficial for you.
