How Therapist Melanie Yearow Offers Safety and Hope to People Living With Complex Trauma

Melanie Yearow, is a registered member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association, holding designations as RPC (Registered Professional Counsellor) and MPCC (Master Practitioner Clinical Counsellor). With 30 years of experience, Melanie’s areas of specialization include addiction (sex and substance abuse/misuse), complex trauma, loss and grief, pet loss, chronic and terminal illness, and spiritual integration. 

Melanie has spearheaded projects such as Feed the Hungry and the development of a therapeutic garden for a multi-disability residential social housing building.  She also gained invaluable experience at BC Woman’s Hospital, Fir Square, a Combined Care Unit for substance-using women and their newborns.
